race details RACE FORMAT 
  • Friday: Practice 8:00 AM to 3:00PM

  • Saturday (race 1): (kID KARTS ONLY SATURDAY)
    Saturday will begin immediately with qualifying at 8:00 AM. After qualifying, drivers will compete in three heats and a final.
  • Qualifying Drivers qualify to set the starting grid for Heat 1.
  • Heat 1 Drivers start based on qualifying results.
  • Heat 2 The starting grid will be based on the Heat 1 finishing order, with inversions applied.
  • Heat 3 — Strategy Heat Heat 3 will introduce a strategic starting-position choice.
  • Saturday Final The starting grid for Saturday’s final will be set by adding the points from all three Saturday heats. The winner of the final will be crowned the Saturday Race Winner.
  • Sunday (Race 2):
    Sunday will use a completely different format, beginning with a random draw instead of qualifying. Sunday will use a completely different format, beginning with a random draw instead of qualifying.
  • Sunday Heat 1 There will be no timed qualifying on Sunday. After Saturday’s racing, drivers will draw a ball to determine their starting position for Sunday Heat 1.
  • Sunday Heat 2 Heat 2 will start straight up based on the finishing order from Heat 1.
  • Sunday Heat 3 Heat 3 will be gridded by the fastest lap from Heat 2. This means the starting order will not be based on finishing position, but on each driver’s fastest lap time in Heat 2.
  • Sunday Super Pre-Final The starting grid for the Super Pre-Final will be determined by adding the points from Sunday Heats 1, 2, and 3.
  • Sunday Final After the Super Pre-Final, points from the three Sunday heats and the Super Pre-Final will be added together to set the grid for Sunday’s final. The winner of Sunday’s final will be crowned the Sunday Race Winner.
  • TIRES
      • All classes will run on LeCont tires. Each class will be allowed one set of tires per day.

    • 1 set of tires per race day
    • Tire distribution will Occur on Friday.

PRIZE MONEY

Any class with 20 or more drivers will be eligible for a $2,000 purse, paid out on Sunday based on the final combined weekend points standings.

The remaining payout will be distributed further down the order until the full $2,000 class purse is paid.
