ENDURANCE RACES 2024
We will be hosting 4 endurance races this year:
5 hours on July 20
6 hours on October 26th
12 Hours on December 21th
ENDURANCE RACES
- Online Registration.
- One to ten drivers per team.
- Mandatory driver’s meeting.
- Le Mans style start. (Driver will be seating on kart and the teamate will run across the track to tag him)
- Awards are given to each driver on the top three finishing teams of each class.
- Drivers must be 16 years of age and have some driving experience. Please send any request for under aged drivers to [email protected]. Each case will be examined individually. If during the race a driver in not able to maintain a safe minimum speed, that driver will be black flagged and the team must put in another driver immediately.
- Drivers must have all skin covered at all-times at the track.
- RENTAL KARTS will be given fuel by Orlando Kart Center, all owners teams will provide its own fuel.
- All karts must have number on all 4 sides all the time.
EQUIPMENT
- Mandatory racing suit and gloves, or long pants, long sleeves, close-toed shoes and gloves.
- You may bring your own helmet must be approved and closed face helmet, or you can use one of ours.
- PRO must bring mechanic tools.
- RENTAL KARTS all teams will use our rental karts and will change karts at every pit stop
- TILLTOSON Must follow SSKC rules at to be determined lbs
RULES AND REGS
•Drivers and teams check in from 7:30 PM to 8:30 PM
•Driver’s meeting: 9:00 PM
•Race starts at 10:00 PM on Saturday Dec. 21st,
•Race ends at 10:00 AM on Sunday Dec. 22nd.
- Race Distance
- 12 Hours plus one lap
- You must cross the finish line driving under your power your kart to win the race (no pushing)
- Pit Stops
- 13 Mandatory Pit stops of 4 minutes.
- All pit stops must be 4 minutes long.
- If you have a mechanical, please see race director to combine pit stops
- Last stop must start 10 minutes before race end (Time penalty disqualification)
- Pit speed
- Must be slow. Walking speed slow
- Its slow. (Time penalty 1 minute to 5 minutes)
- Tires
- Must start and end race with same tires
- Weight
- All karts will be weighting every time.
- Wait until thumbs up to go forward
- If under weight
- Up to 5 lbs. (Time penalty 1 minute)
- 5 to 10 lbs. (Time penalty 2 minutes)
- Over 10 Lbs. (Time penalty 5 minutes of disqualification)
- Time Penalty
- See number of kart on start finish line
- Have Maximum of 2 laps to stop (Time penalty 2 minutes to disqualification)
- Flags
- Yellow, do not pass until reach the accident. Give position back if not (Time penalty 1 minute)
- Red Drive slow to Pit in and stop on track.
- Full Course Yellow
- Yellow lights on Start finish will be yellow. Follow the leader slowly. Single file restart.
- White One to go
- Checkered Great job
- Pits
- No karts can be on between white line and space number 5 on grid.
- (Time penalty 5 minutes to disqualification)
- Start
- Le Mans Start
- Go out, do one lap and grid.
- Re fueling
- Rental karts, please make sure you have enough fuel
- All others it’s your obligation
- Safety
- All drivers must have helmet, long sleeve shirt and pants and close toes shoes.
- If not will have to come in to conform

- Kart Pickup

NEW RENTALS KARTS
All kart owners TWO sets of Maxxis dry tires will be allowed per team and Rain tires will be Levanto RAIN TIRES
PRICES
- Tillotson Pro: $800.00 per team (own kart).
- Super Kart: $ 1,200.00 per team. All included,
- Pro Rental Kart: $1,500.00 per team. All incluided
PIT STOPS
Teams will plan their own pit-stops. Good racing strategy will impact your finishing position as these races are very close.
Even in the long races, teams will often finish on the same lap.
All class has to change drivers each stop. 13 mandatory pit stops of 4 minutes each.
